Service Engineer

  • Job Responsibility

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Installation and Commissioning:
      Preparing for and performing mechanical and electrical installations of new machinery, along with commissioning and operator training. 
    • Maintenance and Repairs:
      Conducting routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues, and performing repairs on CNC and other machine tools. 
    • Technical Support:
      Providing on-site and remote technical assistance to clients, guiding them on machine operation, and suggesting upgrades or improvements. 
    • Documentation:
      Maintaining detailed records of service activities, generating technical reports, and documenting maintenance and repair work. 
    • Customer Relations:
      Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the provided services. 
    • Safety Compliance:
      Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations. 
    • Training:
      Providing training to end-users on the safe and effective operation of machinery. 
    • Inventory Management:
      Monitoring and maintaining inventory of spare parts and materials, and reordering as needed. 
    • Continuous Improvement:
      Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and suggesting modifications or upgrades to enhance performance. 

  • Educational Requirement

    • Educational Background:
      A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering is  required. 

  • Experience Requirement

    • Experience:
      Relevant experience (2 Yrs Min ) in repairing, commissioning, and installing CNC machinery, or similar industrial equipment. 
    • Technical Skills:
      Strong understanding of CNC machine mechanics, electronics, and software, with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
    • Communication Skills:
      Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders. 
    • Customer Focus:
      A customer-centric approach with the ability to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction. 
    • Other Skills:
      Analytical thinking, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to travel.
